课程介绍
This course is an introduction to the nervous system, with emphasis on the structure and function of the mammalian brain. Topics include the cellular neurobiology, sensory and motor systems, learning and memory, brain disorders and frontiers in neuroscience research. Through this course, students shall understand the basic theory of neuroscience, the modern research methods and recent progress in neuroscience. The course is comprised of lectures, presentation and discussion of primary literature and essay assignments. The related knowledge of this course provides a solid foundation for innovative thinking and future research in neuroscience.
